Amelia’s Run: Honoring a Life, Inspiring Others – Oct. 25

Save the Date: October 25
Location: Grand Rivers, Kentucky

In the heart of Western Kentucky, a powerful movement is taking shape — and it starts with a pair of running shoes and a whole lot of heart.

Amelia’s Run is more than just a race. It’s a tribute to the incredible life of liver transplant recipient Amelia Wilson, and the love and legacy she leaves behind. Organized by her husband, Allen Wilson, this event aims to inspire others to say “yes” to organ, eye, and tissue donation and to carry Amelia’s spirit forward by helping save the lives of others.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or joining for the walk and community connection, this is a day you won’t want to miss. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Grand Rivers, KY, this run is filled with love and family-friendly fun (and a little competition!) in Western Kentucky and every step taken will help raise awareness and encourage life-saving donor registration.

Why We Run

Every day, 100,000 patients across America wait for the gift of life. Through Amelia’s Run, we honor those we’ve lost, celebrate the gift of donation, and inspire others to register as donors and make a difference.

Run to save lives. Run with heart. Run for Amelia.

Stay tuned for more details — including race times, registration links, and how to get involved.
