Executive Director Shelley Snyder Named Chair of Donate Life America Advisory Council, Joins National Board for 2026
We are proud to share that Shelley Snyder, Executive Director of Donate Life Kentucky Trust, will serve as Chair of the Advisory Council for Donate Life America in 2026, helping guide the organization’s national leadership and strategic direction in the year ahead. With this role, Shelley will also serve as an ex-officio member on the Donate Life America Board of Directors
The Donate Life America Advisory Council is a national body of experienced leaders from across the organ, eye, and tissue donation community. The Council plays a critical role in shaping vision, strategy, and priorities, ensuring the Donate Life mission is advanced thoughtfully, responsibly, and collaboratively across the country.
As Chair, Shelley will help lead discussions on emerging issues, support alignment between states and national partners, and elevate innovative approaches to education, registry growth, donor family support, and public trust. Her appointment reflects not only her personal leadership, but also the strength and credibility of the work happening in Kentucky.
Shelley brings almost two decades of nonprofit executive experience, a deep commitment to donor families and transplant patients, and a reputation for building strong, values-driven partnerships. Under her leadership, Donate Life Kentucky Trust has expanded services for transplant families, strengthened statewide education efforts, and consistently contributed ideas and best practices to national conversations.
