My wife has a beautiful soul. She worked in retirement homes as social services director as she studied for her masters in autism. Even though our sacrifices have been many our rewards have been overjoyed.

I remember one particular time when working with a nonverbal autistic child the parents were crying when she arrived she asked what is a matter? The father said “my son was crying and screaming and said his ear was hurting I thought he would never be able to tell me what was wrong”.  They were crying happy tears because of the work my wife had done with this family. This child ended up finishing high school and graduated.

In death she was able to bring a little more joy to at least two more families; a 60 year old female who is a mother of three and has four grandchildren, and a 72 year old male who is married with two children and two grandchildren. My wife was and angel in life and in death, answering prayers and giving of herself.
