I am currently waiting to get on Kidney transplant list in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been on dialysis for 11yrs with renal kidney failure & I am only 43yrs old. I have a wonderful wife and 2 kids, 21 & 20, both in College at University of Louisville.

I found out I was in kidney failure was when I was up for a job promotion and I had to have a physical. Needless to say I didn’t get the job & i was told I needed to start dialysis right away.  I was disappointed about the job, but that physical saved my life so I’m very grateful.

I HAVE to live to see both of my children walk across that stage with their Bachelors degree. Put God First and your worries will fade away. It is important to patients like me when people join the Kentucky Organ Donor registry.  Being an organ donor is the gift that keeps on giving.  I am signed up because I would be happy to help someone after I’m gone.
