Organ donation means a lifetime of memories. In my family, a loving donor and their family gave my son the chance to know his Grammie. My family has a history of Polycystic Kidney Disease. Organ donation afforded my son something that I was not privileged to know. My Grandmother had died at the age of 28 from kidney failure when my Mom was only 10. My Mother was blessed to have 23+ years to live life after her transplant with family and friends. Sadly, Covid (kidney was GREAT!) took her from us in December 2020. Everyone has the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life by signing up to be a donor.
