Organ donation allows gifts to be given without request to give back. Edwin had always wanted to be a donor. He registered as soon as he was able. We just never knew his gift would be used.
Edwin was selfless in his wishes. While he leaves parents, grandparents, brothers, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins & a lot of friends, his gift went to 2 recipients. Also to help with research on diabetes & COPD.
While we miss our loved one, the knowledge that saving others has been rewarding. Organ donor is the ultimate unconditional gift. A gift that asks nothing in return
