In January 2019 we learned that my father was approved for a Kidney Transplant. The process began of putting him on the transplant list. He didn’t want to look for a living donor. In June of 2019 we received the call to get to the hospital they had a match for him. At the same time my mother had entered the last stages of NASH liver failure. So I was taking care of both my parents. My father has had a successful journey and we are ever thankful for the donor.
