Levi

Recipient

Levi was born July 1st, 2007 with a birth defect.   At only 4 months old, he was placed on the organ transplant waiting list to receive a small bowel, liver and pancreas.

He received his life-saving transplants at only 8 months old.

At 3 years old, he came back from the US Transplant Games in Wisconsin, where he won a silver medal for running and a bronze medal for the softball throw.

Fast forward, Levi is a thriving teenager! In 2022, his family took a trip to Maine to attend a special wedding- the wedding of his donor’s mother. Read more about that trip here: A Gift of Love: Local transplant recipient shares special day with family of donor

Give for Good 2023

“As a mother of a transplant recipient, my inspiration for this design is my son’s donor and her mother. Her decision to donate set in motion a chain reaction that has influenced the lives of both our families. Our lives have and will forever be interconnected and in motion as a result of that one fateful decision. I am so grateful for her choice to donate life and I hope to honor his donor’s memory with the design of this shirt.”- Laurie, Levi’s Mom
