The mission of organ donation is something very near to my heart. It is because of organ donation that my grandfather is still living today. In August of 2014, he received a life-saving liver transplant. He had been on the transplant list for a little over a year. Without organ donations, the lives of so many people would be lost. It is extremely important that everyone joins the Kentucky Organ Donor Registry because it can change the ending to someone’s story.
